Kasem Earrings

One must witness the delicate look of a dotted enamel. Kasem has a bright white enamel perimeter with yellow dotted enamel. He was previously a pair of Art Deco buttons but was converted into a pair of statement earrings. His base earring material is mother of pearl, a soft grey neutral background that further contrasts against the bright white enamel and joyous opal. The opal base color is a base white but there's heavy amounts of color play that dance across the surface! The materials are unusual, as the posts do not test gold. The backings are 10k gold. While the rest of the earring is 18k gold. 

Let me tell you about these opals. They literally go berserk in color, I haven’t really met a pair of opals so insistent on being so energetic. Doesn’t matter the lighting, he is quite entertaining to watch. I can see flashes of red and then a swirl of pastel colors. Sometimes a swirl all together. One earring is a little more red with blue. While the other earring is more yellow and green. While those who have ADHD can truly appreciate the activity of color, it’s almost like Kasem is active as our minds are.

These are perfect for the warmer weather coming up! I can see these styled effortlessly with a tee and a pair of jeans. Please note that the back of the earrings is curved outwards and the earrings will sit slightly forward.

Care:

Advanced – earrings are far more forgiving to wear but enamel and opals are delicate, take care to not scratch

Clean:

Advanced – don’t submerge, gently brush the backing with soap and water and avoid water contact with the face of the earrings. I do not recommend cleaning the face of the earrings. An alternative would be to use a qtip moistened with water. 

Condition:

Slight scratches on the enamel. A little wear on the opal but only seen under magnification.
