The center are two Old European cut diamonds, an estimated 0.72 carats. Antique cuts don’t sparkle like the modern ones do. They flash softly and billow when you move your hand. Condition: one of the diamonds has a small chip only visible under magnification. It’s hidden underneath a prong and is secure in its setting. The shank has some thinning in the back. The shank exhibits some thinning, partly due to the original design and partly from age-related wear. The ring has been inspected and is structurally sound and wearable.
