A highly expressive ring in 18k yellow gold, set with emeralds and diamonds in a closed back setting. At first glance, it could pass for an antique. The silhouette and details are drawn straight out of the pages of 19th century English and European jewelry, right down to the tiny compartment slot where a locket would have been. Look a little closer and you will see signs of more modern jewelry manufacturing, especially when you look at the back of the ring. There is crisp lines and a continuous pattern between locket back and the shoulder. It was created in modern cast and it appears it had minimal hand finishing on the shank and some hand finishing on the ring's head. Observing how this was created, this does not have evidence of 1820s or 1860s creation. If I had to make a guess, it would be post 1940s with the advancements of casting.
At its center, soft green emeralds glow with a botanical quality, an earthy green that feels alive and organic. Their gentle tone gives the ring an effortless elegance. The shank swoops gracefully around the finger with an airy, cut‑out design that feels playful, flirty, and remarkably light in spirit. A feeling of joy and femineity. It has the sweetest rise from the finger, my favorite part, the way it hugs the finger. It sits low and secure, with that easy comfort feel.

Care/Clean: Emeralds and the closed-back setting require antique-level care. Avoid soaking, ultrasonic, or steam. Gently wipe after wear and spot-clean with minimal moisture (soft brush/Q-tip), then dry thoroughly.
Condition: a couple emeralds have tiny fleabites on them. Typical surface wear on the gemstones. Some of the diamonds have very small nicks. Some gold scratches on the interior, the back of the ring’s head.
