Josephine Ring
Josephine Ring
There are two romantic motifs in this ring. The toi et moi was made popular by Josephine’s engagement to Napoleon, a symbolism to say “you and me.” This design is still popular in this modern day and age, take a look at Megan Fox’s prior engagement ring to Machine Gun Kelly! There’s also the bypass ring, this trend was popular during the Victorian time frame. It’s symbolic to say that there are two independent identities, but they can come together as one. I know, you got your tissue box?!
Enchantingly in an inky purple color in two different sizes and shapes. The colors and design of this ring is an ultimate regal look. The smaller amethyst had a bezel that was previously slightly torn. It was repaired along with some reinforced prongs. The small amethyst stone has a 0.68mm chip (likely from the point the bezel was torn). It is not visible under the naked eye and disclosing it only for transparency purposes. The small amethyst also has a long cutlet and had a resulting scratch from likely from a previous rough handle on the mandrel. With the long pointed cutlet at the bottom, please avoid placing this on the mandrel to avoid damage to the amethysts.
