Rivieres can look ostentatious (not saying it’s a bad thing!) with their large and sparkly facets. Lucia, however, offers a gentle, glowing effect with occasional twinkles. These round antique cut citrines have large and irregular faceting cuttings alongside a sprinkling of sporadic culets. A design to subtly brighten up a room. The citrines also have some graduating shapes and with a variety of colors: pale daffodil to a warm amber color. One citrine at the bottom of the necklace is quite honey in shade. The setting on these stones reminds me of the Victorian era, with the rope design perimeter and a pie crust type of bezel setting.

The remaining links at the back of the necklace are not original to its design. The necklace at one point had some gemstone links taken out and were converted to earrings. The gold mounted around the citrines and the links are testing 9k gold while the back added chain is testing at 18k gold.

Styling tip, necks that are smaller (pictured on a 14” neck) you can add pendants that will show up on the sides of the necklace. The necklace is quite forward heavy and could flip on a smaller neck. Neck sizes that are 16”-18” will likely flip less, pendants can also be added but will show up at the back of the neck.

The earrings came to with me base metal screw backs and they were converted into 14k solid dangle hooks to mimic closer to the era they would have been created in. I adore their graduated shapes!
