This is a diamond-studded platinum fur dress clip, estimated to be from the 1940s-1950s. It is likely that it was created in the latter years, as the 1950s were known for their opulent fashion following World War II. It is unclear if this clip was part of a pair, and whether the other piece was identical or mirrored.
Every millimeter of this pendant/clip is adorned with diamonds, accentuating the curve of the ribbon and the delicate edges of the bow. In total, there are 65 diamonds, all of them of exceptional quality. Among these, 15 diamonds are classified as transition diamonds, an early form of the modern brilliant diamond.
